Resident Services

Minor Unit Repair Program

Signature Property Management Company is offer a unique and competitively priced maintenance service program for your home. The program offers to owners, whose one year warranty has expired, not only a cost savings, but also a timely solution to your maintenance needs. Work will be performed at a rate of $40.00 per hour plus parts. A minimum fee of $30 will be charged for service of 30 minutes or less.

  • Owner/Resident may obtain a “request for work” form on the Metropolitan web site.
  • The form should be filled out completely, including contact phone numbers, permission to enter if you are not home, whether there are pets inside and if you have an alarm system.
  • If an appointment is preferred, management will proceed to coordinate with the owner/renter to set a date and time to begin the repair.
  • All payments should be made upon completion of services at the front desk and made out to the Metropolitan.
  • Some maintenance items will need to be completed by an outside vendor and once the work order is turned in management will advise you if that is the case. The homeowner will then be responsible for calling their own vendor for repairs at their expense.

Online Services

Metropolitanlivingkc.com now offers a host of online services for residents. You can do the following online:

  • View your profile.
  • Place maintenance requests.
  • Make facility reservations.
  • Receive email notifications.

To access all these services, you have to a be a registered user of the website with a valid email. If you still have not registered for these services or would like to know more, please contact the property manager

Services

Dry Cleaning

Many service companies would pick up your dry cleaning at our location. Our staff is there to assist if you need additional services. If you like a particular company but they are not listed below please call them to arrange a pick up. Residents using the service will drop off their garment bag at the front desk to pick-up Monday thru Friday. When the cleaned garments are returned they are hung in the package room and the resident is notified.

Package Drop off/Pick up

Residents can leave packages for pick up at the front desk. The concierge staff will also accept UPS, FED EX, USPS or DHL packages on your behalf. Your mail box will be tagged if you receive a package. Bring that tag to the front desk and you will be asked to sign for the package. At that time the person working the front desk will retrieve your package. If a package is not picked up in 7 days you will be contacted by phone or letter. Packages will be sent back to sender after 30-days.

Recycling

The Metropolitan was the first condominium buildings in Kansas City to recycle! This recycling program is FREE for the residents. The acceptable materials include #1, #2 plastic bottles with a neck, aluminum, steel, and tin cans, paperboard boxes, office paper, cardboard, newspapers and magazines. You can recycle these on B1 level.

Spa

The Metropolitan Condominium has contracted with a spa company services operated by Jill Champion. The spa located at the Penthouse level is offers services as an amenity to the homeowners.
